Description
Brought to the nutrition seminar by Danette Kelso (Teche Regional dietician)
Ingredients
- 1 cn (16 oz) refried beans (pinto or black, reduced or non-fat)
- 1 c cheddar cheese (non-fat shredded)
- 4 whole wheat tortillas
- 2 tomato (diced)
- 3 c lettuce (shredded)
- 1 c non-fat sour cream
- 1 bottle hot sauce or salsa
Instructions
Heat a skilled to medium. Add beans and stir continuously until warm. Spread beans down the middle of each tortilla, stopping a quarter of the way to the ends. Add cheese and any other desired condiments. Fold the top and bottom ends up (the ends at the edges of the beans), then fold over each side. Serve warm.
Notes
The tomatoes, lettuce, sour cream and hot sauce are optional
