Bishop's Dressing from Jeanne Gros
Let the garlic sit in 1 pint of salad oil overnight.
Put honey and salt in blender. Blend until creamy. With blender on slow speed, add vinegar and lemon juice. Add oil/garlic slowly and blend until thick. Secret is slow blending.
For variety, wine vinegar may be used instead of white vinegar.
